Newsletter, January

I'm SO SORRY for l=not updating this in a long time or putting any new videos on!!! Lane and I made a TON of videos last summer, but my laptop broke and they wiped out the harddrive :'( so.... bye-bye videos. But I'm gonna try to come on here more often!!

This newsletter is about recycling.

There is a lot more to recycling than collecting bottles and paper and taking them to a recycling place in your community to be recycled. Don't get me wrong, that's a good way to recycle, but there is more.!

Re-using is a way of recycling, too!! Just save those empty water-bottles and re-fill them anytime you need too!! it saves money (you dont have to buy more bottled water), time (going to the store to buy more water) and stops just a bit of pollution from happening (from your car, unless you ride a bike or walk)! You can also use scratch paper to jot somethin down. In a lot of classrooms around the world there are little recycling boxes. USE THEM!!! Instead of throwing out the paper you barely wrote on, put the paper in the box! Put all your old papers that you don't want/need in the box!! THINK IN THE BOX!!! You can also use papers from in the box to write down your homework, pass a note, take it to the recycling place!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Another part of recycling is to prevent it. I know that sounds like I'm saying not to recycle, but I'm not! What I'm saying is that if you don't use the thing in the 1st place, then you won't have to recycle it. Example: If you use white-out (liquid paper) to cover your mistake, then you won't have to recycle the paper. If you already use wate bottles for water, you won't have to recycle the bottles. I guess that if you get into the cycle of re-cycling, you don't really realize that you're doing it anymore. And that's a good thing, because you won't have to go out of your way to recycle and won't forget to recycle!

Don't forget to recycle!!!

Well I guess that's all I have to say. Seeya next time!!
